In ancient times, people believed that earwax was a form of brain matter.
In the 1500s, it was believed that when a woman’s virginity was lost, a white liquid would flow from her vagina. This liquid was known as “The Virgin’s Milk.”
In the early 1800s, it was believed that if a woman’s chest was shaved, it would improve the flavor of her milk.
In 1835, a French scientist named Michel Eugène Chevreul discovered that fat was not a single substance, but was made up of smaller molecules called glycerides. This was a groundbreaking discovery at the time, and it completely changed the way scientists thought about fat.
